Who are the major business partners involved in the project?
HK Motors is working together with an international group of distinguished business partners on this project. The vehicle styling is designed by an Italian company that is one of the world’s most renowned car designers. A German firm will lead the engineering of the cars and trucks. The hybrid powertrain will be designed by another German research and design company that is a proven, world-class developer and producer of advanced engines. Together, we will transform the most advanced technology and engineering expertise into green cars and trucks.

Why will the project be successful?
The high fuel efficiency, superior performance, high quality and low cost of our cars and trucks will make our products very competitive in the market. An experienced and highly respected management team is leading the project to ensure that we meet every milestone and target for the project. A pool of investors and other private firms are providing the funds to move the project forward. Local and state governments are providing strong support and incentives to ensure that the project will be completed to meet its objectives.

What effect will the project have on the surrounding region?
Our project will have a significant economic impact on the region where the manufacturing plant is located. We will create thousands of direct engineering and manufacturing jobs in the plant. In addition, it is expected that many indirect jobs will be created as a result of the project’s completion and on-going production, which will drive the growth of the immediate area and surrounding states.

Compared to other Regional Center projects, what are the advantages of the HK Motors project?
